Joseph* and Mimi. 1961 at 1510 Virginia.

Young Marcus.
Postcard. Each group would come down together in a swath. When the bowl was tracked up we would be flown to another area. Always in pure power. I would be exhausted at the bottom of the run and look forward to some recovery time, but we no sooner sat down than another copter would appear from nowhere and we would soon be at the top again.
About 1977, Sand bugging in Nevada with family friend Wayne Grist in yellow, Joe in red and Mike in blue. The person in the red knit cap must be Mike.. I don't remember Patti going. It was always a great adventure going with Wayne. Everyone would ride till dark, and with lights we keep going. We only stopped for repairs and fuel. I rented an RV and Wayne had his own.
March 1971. Papa Jim won a lottery at a contractor's party. The tickets were $100 each. Nobody was buying any, so Papa jim figured the odds were good and they were. He took nine of us to Hawaii. I guess he was taking the above picture. On the Big Island the lava covered the highway. Above Mama Jeanne and Jim & Mary Ella's six little ones.
Xmas 1969 at Grandma B's apartment. Always a special time. She planned the event way in advance, including somethings we didn't like to eat, but had to with a smile. Stewed tomatoes I think. We all got a "Be Good" lecture in advance. Later on great fun was traveling up and down the stairs on her elevator. Show here are Kathleen, Mary Ella (with Mike), Beth (in a wig?), Debbie. In front are Celia, Jeanni and Patti.
