"Kelsey and her friend Chelsea met up with some friends in London. They didn't have the time go to Buckingham Palace or the National Art Gallery, but they did go to a nightclub called Mahiki. People they met told them that is where Prince Harry goes sometimes. Unfortunately, he didn't show up but there was a section blocked off for Rhianna and her entourage. She said the guys had gelled hair, nice suits and expensive shoes. the girls looked like models with gorgeous clothes."

"Kelsey had a great time in Paris. She did a lot of running and ate some great "pan a chocolate". Her favorite treat. She said there were Christmas lights and decorations everywhere and many tourists. She said the Champs Eysees was "magical". I'm sure Patti would recognize the locations in some of the photos since she lived in Paris.

She said some of the Parisians were a bit abrupt, but they took a train to London and people there seemed friendlier-"

Joe and Mimi about 1964. I spoke to Mimi twice today and she is getting and recovering quickly. She didn't get to keep the metal bracing that was removed. She hopes this is the last operation. We all hope so too.

for Thursday January 5th

1971. Mimi. I spoke to her about three today and she said her operation came out fine.

The doctor removed some of the metal in her arm, but not all. Gary is taking good care of her.

1974. Mimi. This was early in the year she broke her arm while riding a Zing wire. It was badly shattered. Today she is having her seventh operation to redo the hardware inside. She is a real trooper about it all and never complains. She has been living with this for 38 years.

This was the zing wire. The neighbor girl is Karen V. Steve is on the wire ready to fly. In the back is the roofing of our two story house. The wire was connected to a tree house out in the pasture. I was right there, but it didn't look dangerous to me. I was very wrong.
