Happy Birthday Steven (2.14), the baby on Mary Ella's lap. He is 48 years old today. Also Joe*, Patti, and Jim (2.1). Picture taken 1964. How did the kids get so old so fast. And have grown kids of their own.

This huge limb fell from an oak tree at Gibson Ranch. This is where Mimi's Gary often works.

To get a take on the size of the limb see how big it is compared to Gary's truck. Thanks Mimi for the pictures. Our couple now has a year's worth of good firewood.

Paddy is getting good protection from his teammates.

Joe is looking after the local lovelies. I think I have seen the one on the right  in homecoming pictures.

Hi Dad,

 Brendan at work. I hope you post homecoming picture of him and his date.
Paddy had a good game last night.  He made a few touchdowns and made some awesome passes.  He was on the TV  for Friday football highlights.  

Catholic won 41 to 0.
After the game the bus takes the team back to 

Catholic and they ring the church bell.  You could hear the bus from a mile away the team was so excited.

for October 20th, Saturday

This is from Brendan's first gainful day of employment. He is working at Williams Sonoma Grande Cuisine. Steven says he has a new respect for the working person. Steve and Maureen were out on their wedding anniversary shopping for clothes for Brendan's home coming dance.
