"Ray" North Dakota, population 500.
The huge flame at the pump jack sites are called flares.
She says you can drive up really close to them, and that they
are very loud and you can feel the heat coming from it.
A small town with one restaurant, a gas station,
a very small market, and a bar. Everything is closed
on Sundays except the gas station.

"Maureen spent the weekend with Taylor in Texas and they had a great time.
They went to Austin and toured University of Texas...
Taylor is now assigned to the 1st Calvary Division and they et to wear Stetson Cowboy hats.
The 1st Calvary has a long proud tradition and are a gun-ho group.
You probably remember the movie "Apocalypse Now" and the attack
helicopters, and Robert Duval wearing the Stetson Cowboy hat.
Maureen took Taylor to the uniform store and got him his hat."
