"Hi Dad

This is a picture of Joe when he finished the two mile race. It was a district race and he got 2nd place. It was eight laps around the track and he looked so strong. At the end he flew by a runner to come in second. He had a huge smile on his face. Now he goes to the state finals. He qualified for the 800. (that is two laps around the track). He is also qualified for the one mile and the two mile. You can probably imagine how excited Frank is about his times. After each race Joe goes and shakes every runners hand. It's kind of funny to watch since its not something the runners do, maybe Joe is just rubbing it in!

What beautifully behaved children. Little angels and saints all.
