This is the newspaper article that went with the picture of Capehart housing at China Lake. I also show the wrong google picture of this housing. It looks pretty sad in the satellite picture. The year of the project was 1948. Something I remember about the job. Power nail guns were introduced. Which the unions didn't like at all. The gun was like a small jack hammer. It was tied to a carpenters leg and he took short steps on the roof firing nails. It was air powered.

In 1952 September 7th. Mary Jean Ferry BVM entered the convent. 59 years ago, wow. The family has been continually blessed.
