Our old parish, St. Anne's in South Sacramento, founded in 1963. We joined the parish in 1964.Our pastor said he picked the site because it would be in the center of growing Sacramento. Alas, he soon found out he was at the outside edge of the growth line. The city stopped at St Anne's.

Here is a photo taken inside the church. I can remember the huge crying room on the left, behind the glass. It all looked as I remember it 47 years ago....................
Our pastor's claim to his 15 minutes of fame. He was a priest connected with the winter olympics in 1960. There was NO snow, and artificial snow was years away. He had everyone praying for snow. It came down in abundance and the event was saved. He and God got the credit.

I can't recall the pastor's name, but i think the kids will.
