Back in civilization. I am sure they had camp fires at night. Looks like Paddy has at least 3 plates of the same thing. It all looks like the comforts of a fine hotel.
Kelsey crashing when she can. They should be home in Virginia by Sunday pm. Maybe planning their next adventure: Milford Trail in New Zealand, Trekking in Nepal, There are some good city to city walks along the coast in Italy, (Cinque Terre Walk)
Switzerland has overnight to overnight walks, Spain has the religious walk, Camino de Santiago.

"Hi Dad
We are
heading back to Cusco. It's 2,000 ft above Machu Picchu, but we know
there will be a hot shower. It's a strange feeling when you're up so high
it's hard to take a deep breath. Even when I'm standing still my heart is
beating very fast. These Inca people are so fit. We tried to sleep on the
train but this crazy guy in a mask kept running up and down the aisle and music
was blaring. Jeanni "
